In 2017, Aidmary Ruiz, a young Dominican entrepreneur, emigrated to the United States because her life took an unexpected turn when her daughter, Alyssa, was born with Down syndrome. Determined to provide the best opportunities for her daughter, Aidmary emigrated in search of a better future.
In her new home, Aidmary encountered challenges and opportunities. Inspired by her cousin, who owned a successful restaurant, Aidmary decided to follow in her footsteps into the food industry. In 2019, with a lot of determination and the support of her family, she opened her first food business. She partnered with a talented Mexican chef fusing the best of Dominican and Mexican cuisine.
The restaurant, “Rinconcito Domex” , originally called Rinconcito Mix , quickly gained popularity for its authentic and delicious combination of flavors. Aidmary’s dedication to quality and customer service was evident, and the restaurant became a landmark in the local community.
My story is a testament to the power of love and determination, proving that with hard work and dedication, it is possible to overcome any obstacle and achieve your biggest dreams.
